So let me see if I've got this whole stencil thing right - You cut a negative design out of wax paper, iron that onto fabric, and paint over it? I've got that so far, but doesn't the wax paper leave residue on the fabric? I want to stencil on some fabric, but it's probably going to be pretty expensive fabric and I don't want to ruin it. I will of course test it on a small piece first, but I wanted to make sure I have the gist of this correct.
