A few months ago, my friend gave me an advance copy of his book, signed and everything... groovy...
I started reading it (luckily it is a compliation of previously published works, so I can read a story, do other stuff, read another, and not feel like I am wasting time rereading to refresh) and in his forward, he mentions others have compared him to Hunter Thompson... since then, I have heard that name I can't tell you how many times...
Interesting to me (perhaps only)... hearing a reference for the first time, then suddenly it's frequent... almost like buying a car and suddenly you see millions of it on the road...
