I have to say...
All of this debating and voter turn out is pretty fraking inspiring...
I think the voting system is flawed... that there is an electoral college, whose votes are the ones that "count" because we are "too dim" to really be trusted... prolly my biggest issue... but there are others... but that SO many people are lined up to have their voice heard... instead of a small chorus, now a cacophony of "Hear me" ... it's... wow... perhaps it's my naivete (is it wrong that I self spell check naive by making sure it's Evian backwords? sorry... ) but perhaps people are being jerked awake and will start to make motions to fix system... update it even a little...
I am not the person that breathes the fire of the political system... I have my beliefs, and tend to keep them primarily to myself (that doesn't mean I can't or won't soap box.... I have them a plenty...)... but it is inspiring to see people, who normally don't talk about things because they don't pay attention or because they think that they don't matter or count getting involved...
Somewhere in my head there is a vision of something along the lines of Boondocks mixed with "Operation: Mindcrime" coming to fruition...
