So January-March sucked something awful, so I struggled to put good stuff there, but April-now definitely picked up. Yay!
2006 was the year when...
January:
-I got to be in charge at the bookstore one day during inventory. It was awesome.
-First day of classes (actually pretty awesome classes...)
-A day off in SF with Anya...and I really needed it
-Joey!
February:
-Somebody side-swiped my car...that's why it's so ugly on the outside (the inside is my fault lol)
-Found my new apartment
-That's all I've got...February was short...
March:
-TGIF where Khahn spilled beer on Ginger
-Mongolian BBQ
-New apartment in Stockton much closer to all of my pals and definitely NOT SOON ENOUGH
April:
-Tax refunds...I showed them!
-IKEA and the Container Store (AKA Heaven on Earth)
-Anna Nalick
-Tattoo me
May:
-The mohawk. Even though it wasn't mine, it was pretty sweet.
-Jurassic Park marathons while trying to type a Parasitology final :D
-First Ports game
-Da Vinci Code
-The Wreckers and the Dixie Chicks had new CDs
-end of the semester
June:
-Teaching micro
-Pirates of the Caribbean
-Ports Game
-Kurtis' birthday party
-Bowling
-Spongebob
July (this was a good one!):
-Monterey Bay Aquarium and the 4th
-The Wreckers
-Teaching bio 61...ick
-Santa Cruz (x2) and worst sunburn ever hehe
-My research worked for the first time
-*whispers*Lady in the water!
-115 degrees...I miss it *pouts*
-Housesitting for Patte
August:
-Europe with a boy! lol
-Stalked Nessie
-Stupid terrorists who got me stuck in Chicago for days or hours...whatev
-Being all jacked up on Mountain Dew
-First day of classes
September:
-Got a new job (Dear baby 8 pound Jesus...thank you for loving me!)
-Steven left for the Navy
-Had the best birthday weekend EVER because I have the best friends ever. 23
-No more Yesterday's Books...EVER
October:
-Blue Angels, new mall, AND hanging out with Ryan in SF
-Got hired with MUSD to be a sub
-Scavenger Hunt
-Halloween!
November:
-Maria Bamford
-Thanksgiving in Chicago
-Turkey balls TGIF...and the afterparty...
-Long weekend of work = big pay day
-Ph.D. applications :(
December:
-First hockey game
-Pie Your TA
-Nameless, but fun, concert
-A in biomechanics!
-Christmas getting to see a cousin I hadn't seen in years
What lies ahead for 2007?
-It will start better than 2006...because it couldn't be any worse. lol
-I will finish my Masters
-There will be a cool vacation
-I will live somewhere that is not Stockton and will hopefully be enrolled in a Ph.D program
-Joey will let me pick him up...I can pet him now, so things are looking up!
