Sorry I have waited so long to do this.
I'm Debbie, and along with joanie_dearest5 want to welcome you to our little group. We are really excited to have this up and running and hope you all jump right in and start posting. This should be a fun place for Dixie fans to share the love and talk about Dixie, her life and her career.
I've been a Dixie Carter fan for as long as I can remember. Really, I have. (I think I starting watching her when I was about 6 and I'm 24 now.) She has always served as an amazing inspiration to me. She's an amazing woman and an amazing actress. I had the pleasure of first meeting Dixie about 6 years ago, and at then time she took me under her wing. I feel very fortunate to be a part of her life and have her as a part of mine. She has loved me, supported me and encouraged me. I really don't know what I would do without her. I treasure her love and friendship everyday. The gifts she has given me are immeasureable and I love her dearly.
A little more about me: I'm a 24-year-old grad student currently in school in Chicago getting my master's degree in performance arts. I have been acting since age 5 and it's what I want to do with the rest of my life. My acting career is my passion and I can't see myself doing anything else. I also love to work out, shop, sing, dance, hang out with my friends and family, see movies, do anything involving Dixie and Helen Mirren, travel, go to the beach and shop some more.
