Okay this past week was spent "honing my soccer skills." Or atleast that is what the forty some coaches at Centre Colleges Soccer Camp kept telling everyone. And it was all cool, I am much more confident in my game and myself. My passing game has improved tremedously if I do say so myself. It's a great way for a team to get together and work together before the season actually starts. I enjoyed it and learned a lot. Now practice starts this coming friday from 4:30 to 6:00.
So, I havent seen anyone this summer, however. The only people I have seen are on the soccer team and not all of them are like the usual hangout buddies that I would choose, even though fun times were had by all. Might I add that they were all very random ones also.
Two weeks ago I went on Vacation to Edisto (ED-IS-TOE) Island, it is in South Carolina. The island was totally residential. There was nothing commercial about it. There were like 5 places to eat total. The beaches were really nice though because they didn't have huge resorts that caused a bunch of trash to get built up on the beach part. The waves were enormous for the beach though. I mean I have been to several beaches but never have I been to a beach with waves this big. Now don't get me wrong...they weren't surfing waves, but they were awesome body surfing waves. They knocked us all off of our feet really bad. My sister fell and her whole back got scraped up badly, and I got a rash between my legs from the sand and my wrists also got cut by the shells so it looked like I had been trying to commit suicide. dont worry...i wasn't! One night these men that were fishing caught two baby sharks close to the shore. Kinda scary. They also kept trying to throw them back out to the ocean and they just kept swimming back to the shore. Then on the Friday before returning home we went on a kayaking tour. SUNBURNS GALORE! It was cool because the woman that led us took us right to some dolphins that were feeding on the shore. It was pretty cool, but we also saw a fairly good size shark fin above the water, very wierd. I was getting a little anxious. The whole tour was about 2 hours. My cousin also went with us on this journey to South Carolina and he talked the whole freaking time. I thought I wasn't ever going to get any sleep. I slept on a sleeper sofa my sister slept on another couch my parents had an enormous bed my aunt had a twin bed and my 6 year old cousin got the other twin bed. I felt jipped. I realize that they were the guest. But anyway. We also went to Charleston and Savannah. I didn't really like Charleston but Savannah was pretty cool, pretty cool indeed. I went to Hollister for the very first time on this adventure and bought three things.
On this past Monday night we had our neighbors over/rachel's old teacher, her husband, and new baby. They are moving to Florida and she is by far one of the best teachers ever.
I don't know of much else that I need to say. So I guess that I am gonna go.
Oh yeah, remember that my new sn for AIM is SamCro27.
CROWE OUT, peace.
