Plot Bunny Stampede!
Today's comment_fic theme gave me a plot bunny of epic potential. I don't need more bunnies, I need to finish what I've started. Then again, Jason!Muse isn't cooperating, so maybe I'll give one of his brothers some attention and see if that works to get him in the mood.
I think the main reason I can't write at the moment is lack of typing coordination. Being put under for surgery always screws with my head, no coordination, bad typing (which equals sllooww typing, becuase I'm trying to be careful. But the worst is that I can't seem to find the right words for anything. It doesn't matter if I'm writing or talking, sometimes it will take 5 minutes to finish a sentence. I'd think it was my imagination if other people hadn't commented on it too. I found a study from Harvard that says it could take months to recover fully. BOO! HISS!
Back to the bunny wrangling: It's a NCIS:LA/DCU crossover. G.Callen (played by Chris O'Donnell, see icon) is a undercover agent for NCIS, and a former foster child (39 homes in 18 years). He has no idea where he came from or what his background is, not even what the "G." stands for. Since O'Donnell also played Robin (don't hold that against him, it seems like that movie was universally hated by the dcu fandom) I think the "G." could stand for Grayson.
Version 1 of Plot: Dick is either kidnapped and mindwiped by a villian, and then set free on the west coast with false memories. The point being to break Batman by removing Robin. The villan thinks not knowing Robin's fate would be worse for Batman than if he just killed him.
Version 2 of Plot: Dick has retired from the cape community and changed his identity. Maybe he underwent memory alterations to keep the secret identities safe, or maybe he still has all his memories. IDK
Either way, he's estranged from the Bats and capes, but someone comes looking for him. Probably Tim, or Roy...maybe Jason? Maybe all three?
