today, I watched as they buried a hero, a solider, a son, a brother, and a friend. it was the most moving of services. the family of the other Ga soldier who passed were there. the patriot guard were there. probably around 200 bikes, each with their own American flag. to see people lining the streets with flags and banners and messages of love really renewed my faith in people. if only they were like that 364 other days of the year. at the the cemetary, 2 fire trucks had their ladders raised with the flag between them arching over the entrance. veterans, cops, soldiers, emts, fire fighters all lined the roads saluting as we went past.
God bless this country and the men and women who are out there fighting for us. God bless the Ayers family who lost such a wonderful son and brother. May God's light shine on those who are fighting for you and me.
