bloody library book!
The damn thing vanished off the face of the earth. Either that or it is buried in piles of files and books and boxing day sale items in plastic bags in the old home office while I paint and steam clean the carpets in the new home office! gggrrrrrrrr! Did I mention that I am sick of painting? Although I do love the new colour and look forward to getting filing cabinets and hopefully a book-keeper to file away in one of those cabinets so s/he can do my business taxes for me!
Do you think they'll notice if I never find the book? I wonder if it somehow made its way back home without getting scanned in....because I swear I returned the damn thing. I have 18 items out right now and one is MIA...actually just missing since I didn't get the chance to read that one with the other 17 items popping up all of a sudden at the same time...funny how placing multiple holds leads to everything arriving on the *same* day. You are 2 of 3, you are 234 in 569, you are 1 of 1, you are 23 of 24...you have a whack of books available....why did you put so many on hold?!?
