Headline: LSU is having a confiscated bike sale right now on Tower Drive. WTF? LSUPD and Parking and Transportation are selling all of the bikes that have been confiscated for illegal parking or abandonment on campus. The most expensive one out there is a gorgeous red mountain bike that's...... $35.
[EDIT]: So even though they have sticker prices, they're actually auctioning them off. The auctioneer is a dude that is in a neon yellow shirt. And he's a total asshole because he thinks he's WONDERFUL because he's Mr. Auctioneer. Choke on a bike, dick.
My 830 class was cancelled by the prof once we got there. He told us that he, too, is a student and it wasn't meshing with his teaching role very well this week, so we could just get the hell out and he'd be prepared on Monday. So now I sit in the Union, by Decaboob. Her eyes this morning are half open/half closed, as they typically are. Perhaps she is not a morning person and was groggily awakened in her wooden slumber. Poor girl, she has morning wood every day, lol.
I feel like I should be doing something academic right now. I'm seriously on AIM, all over LJ and FB, but not reviewing notes or reading, etc.
Well, in retrospect to that last sentence, I'm withdrawing all academic responsibility for today. I'm seriously burnt and want to have fun today. I'm going to go to HIST 2057 and take some killer notes, go to lunch, and then skip Astronomy. Selene won't be there; she's in TX, Benoit is surely going to talk to me, and her lecture is sure to be a bore that I can read out of the textbook in 15 minutes anyway. On the other hand, every day I learn a new way we can die because of our solar system, which can be entertaining since none of this will happen, at least in my lifetime. After this, I intend to take a short nap, which I have been doing wayyy too much lately and then go to the Student Health Center. I'm going to discuss daily asthma medications. I'm having far too many asthma issues lately, which is so not the norm for me.
OMG Harry Potter Party tonight! I get to dress up! It's not HP related, but it's still a costume, and it's pretty kick ass. I actually cannot wait for tonight. What to drink?? Should I buy a bottle of mead?! I DON'T KNOW!
