Back from the Czech Republic, and it was awesome. Except of course for the 18 hours of travel, 6 hours longer than normal day following 4 hours of sleep yesterday. But I got to see Lauren for a couple of hours at the end of it, so it's all good.
Won't get into too much detail just because it's too much stuff and I'm lazy, but basically, think 468 men and boys from the US, Canada, and several countries in Europe singing in Prague under the direction of internationally-known conductors from 3 continents with the Czech first lady and american ambassidor in the audience, broadcast on Czech national TV (possible rebroadcast at some later point in the US). And Chris and I were among the 12 members of the semichorus that got to stand front and center and sing the 'solo' portions of the Chichester Psalms.
And if you want to see them, here are some pictures that a chaperone took and uploaded, along with a short movie of one of the performances that the boychoir of Ann Arbor gave.

If you tried to get in contact with me at all since I left, it will probably be a while yet before I respond. If you posted in lj during that time, I probably won't get around to reading it. Just to let you all know.
