Irrelevant

My last post was about how I haven't been posting lately because I went back to my parents' for the week, but it ended up being private so you couldn't possibly know that. Unless you know that all of my passwords are my first ever home phone number back when I lived in South Philly and you log into my accounts for the sole purpose of reading my private entries, in which case this is redundant. It certainly feels so to me.

Anyway. I decided to go home for the weekend because my classes were cancelled for the week and telecommute from work anyway, so no one was going to miss me. Then my car broke down and I decided to stay for the week. I don't know if this is a bad thing, but I'm not missing much - I only go to work once a week and take one class that meets three times a week. Although my English teacher probably doesn't have the best impression of my academic integrity, seeing as how I offered to skip an exam to have a conference with her.

What's for me at home? Well gee, that's a splendid question. I have a 75 pound dumb dog, brother whom I love to harass, crazy ass parents who don't make any sense, and a stinky ferret that was once the love of my life. Above all, I get to sleep in a bed again. The first month I had been sleeping on two hand-me-down futon mattresses (note: it doesn't get softer if you keep on stacking them) and after Mike's mom visited, we stole her air mattress. But c'mon, it's an air mattress.

So, my car came back today and although I didn't get a chance to drive it, I assume that it's in good enough condition to force me to drive back home on Sunday and continue with what remains of a routine I have waiting for me in Ohio. That makes me sad, but I will probably be hungover and unconscious for the duration of the trip. I won't forget to bring money for cheeseburgers.
