To my Sisiter Friend
Thank YOU!!! so much for the wonderful time together.
We went to se an outdoor play called "Trumpet in the Land" An excellent play. The humour was well enjoyed. They had a very plump girl that was helarious and her friend was skinny.....so this scenerio reminded me of us (me and my sister friend). This was my first play (other than family school plays)and it was great!!! I cant wait until next year to go see "Tecumsah" and another one called "The white savage".
We visited Wearthers museum...that was very unique....hoe this man can take a block of wood , make cuts into it, and produce something with out sanding or anything else...AMAZING...no not the candy ( wherthers).
After arriving at the hotel, we settled in with a midnight snack as we discussed the play and took a few silly pictures. During the night, I was abruptly awakened several times by my bed shaking. I knew it was her hitting my bed because I was snoring. Of course when I looked over she was playing possum....lolol....and again and again she would stretch her long leg across the isle from her bed to kick my bed , cuz I was relentless with my snoring. Finally she gave up and would call my name to "Roll over, your snoring". LOLOLOL I swear I heard this a 100 times. Neadless to say we had a hard time getting started on our next adventure the following day.
The ringing of the phone came way too soon. It was the morning wake up call. I pulled my self together, showered, and went looking for some coffee and an ATM machine. When I returned Pocohontus finally had arisen...lolol.
Off we went to werthers museum and then we went north to Brandy Wine Falls. It was a beautiful day!!! We went on a carriage ride. I really enjoy horseback riding....so the carriage ride was great!! Next we were off in an old convertible Barricuda with a blanket and a picnic basket for lunch. It was scrumptous! We had roast beef croisant sandwiches with mandrin oranges, grapes, olives, and a bottle of "Meirs sparkling grape juice". The Dessert Plate was filled with petit favorites..such as choclate iced brownies, mini eclairs, mini reese cups and peppermint patties. aawwwwww!! Our poor bellies were filled.
We left the blanket and basket and followed the well built trail that wrapped along the falls and decended down the clief to view the specktacular sights. We of course, bothered some people to take pictures of us along the trail and with the falls in the back ground. It was a wonderful day.
Along the way home, we discovered that everything was closed because it was sunday. So, since we couldnt find anything else to do we decided to drive home, grab, some "to go" supper and go to the Drive-in movies by my house and chow while we watch the shows.
Now ask me what we watched???? We didnt like the one movie it was called "Red Eye" and I cant remember the other movie! Anyway it was a great ending to an adventurous day!
The final day we spent together was at my house. We stayed in our pj's all day. We were tired. I did get dressed and went our to by us a rib dinner and an apple pie for desert befor her husband picked her up that night.
THANK YOU SISTER FOR TAKING ME TO ALL THESE PLACES...IT HAD TO OF COST A FORTUNE!!!!!
