Project Panic
After spending the weekend with it, the project is halfway completed. However, my mood suffered as a result. Apologies to anyone that may have been inadvertently caught in the crossfire. The mood *will* improve! (And the sooner this project gets done, the sooner that will be a guarantee.
Work is strange. I actually don't mind going to work. After hating work for so long, it's unusual. I even had a coworker apologize in case she was making me feel stupid. She wasn't. She was just doing her job. ; )
The Saturday gaming session was awesome! I hope we can have another good session like that soon.
Lesson: Do not choose Ninz last song in anger when exhausted. This is not the way Dead End was consistently completed well and it will not work for Ninz. Next time, no matter how stupid, choose Ninz second.
For the first time since my Trick days, I played a Basic/Trick set in the arcade! : ) Every one was a full combo, too. Definitely a far cry from my days of Basic Bitching when I couldn't even read song levels... Ah, nostalgia in reference to a few months ago. ::snicker:: I'm starting to full combo 7 Maniac on a regular basis now, which may not be all that impressive, but theoretically that means 8s aren't too far away...
Yesterday, there were jerks abound, which did little to improve my already-shaky mood. Unfortunately some of them had to leave before they were able to witness the doubles cata-ing of a friend of mine. ::snicker:: Then again, maybe they'll come back and see it on a day when he's not having a bad night and will be more afraid. ; )
Note: I know cata-ing is not a real verb, but DDR lingo is full of words that are not gramatically correct. This is a message from your local Rhythm and Grammar Police.
Big thanks to the two that went for coffee. That helped me retain my sanity, or at least what little I have left. ::grin:: I have awesome friends.
Hopefully this week will be a good one. ::crosses fingers and hopes extra credit is easy and project continues to go well:: I can't wait for Winter Break. How many weeks until finals again?
