So I took the ASVAB test yesterday and I fucking owned that test! I got an 82, which is fucking awesome because you only need a 32 to pass and get into the armed forces. Woohoo! So now I just really have to work hard to lose my weight, about 9 pounds, then I can take the physical and everything and enlist! Yay!
I finally feel like I'm doing something productive. I actually have a goal. One day it just clicked that this is what I'm going to do. It feels a little odd telling people that I am joining the Marine Corps, not just thinking about it. But it's great having a goal. I feel like I'm doing something right.
