Band's back in full swing. Fun? Certainly. But tubas are painful. My shoulder is sore, and my heels are blistered. But that's okay. It's all in fun. Boy, I'm tired. I took a nap in a practice room today and felt a bit better, but now I'm tired again. I tried to sleep in the foyer, but people were loud and threw stuff at me, and I strangled Ben Eades. I put my head against the wall for a while, and then two guys carried my chair into a practice room, and I stayed in there. Did I mention that, in addition to being painful, tubas are also written a clef I can't read? I had the idea today of whiting out the top line and drawing in the bottom one, so I would only have to transpose keys instead of into the clef. Wow, that sounds really complicated now that I type it out. But whatever. I have been dubbed the 'Tuba Playing Sex God' during a conversation with Sabrsula. I like it. It suits me. I think that, in the last few days, my priorities have rearranged to make sleep #1, which is a big change from sex #1, sleep when I'm dead. Dunno why, but I haven't cared the slightest in that regard for a while now. Strange, huh? I'm probably going to sleep at like 9 tonight. That'd be nice. And tomorrow, I'm gonna get some coffee.
