Ah, forgive me. A teriques is something from my world, exclusive to the Ferines race. It's a sign of maturity, for it only comes to you once you've come of age. It's... Basically, it acts like your very spirit. Each Ferines has a different signature teriques; None of them look alike. They're always a different color or animal.

They're very powerful. We use them in magical attacks and... sometimes, we use them to change the very outcome of something. But we can also fly with them. We can change our teriques into a pair of wings signifying our signature animal and fly with that.
