[That's right! The team is pretty far down the path right now, so she can take a little break. Ammy moves in to sniff his hand, then lets his fingers trail along the top of her head. She hasn't met this one before!]

[He lets her sniff his hand. She definitely reminds him of an Animagus, since she seems much too aware for a normal animal. Maybe she'll reveal herself to him someday, but once she lets him rub the top of her head, he kneels down to give her a good rubbing.]

You're pretty skilled with a ball. I wonder if dodgeball is a favorite hobby of yours.

[She's actually never played dodgeball, but it's not all that different from possessed trees throwing stuff at her. Just more fun. Because of that, she lets out a snort and lightly shakes her head. And ooooh rubbings; Ammy will just lean into that with pleased sound.]
