A new beginning...

Finally found the courage to begin penning my first LiveJournal entry.
In the world of online diaries and "blogging", I am usually a reader, rather than a writer.
Why? I asked myself. I can write, if I want to.
How can I put such complex feelings and emotions into a webspace? I wonder...
Courage comes NOT in the mere writing of words, but the expressions chosen and used in the paragraphs.
Can anyone see the difference? Or should I say, can anyone FEEL the difference.
Seeing is not feeling. Feeling is like COMPASSION.
I end my first entry with a quote by Milan Kundera:-
" There is nothing heavier than compassion. Not even one's own pain weighs so heavy as the pain one feels with someone, for someone, a pain intensified by the imagination and prolonged by a hundred echoes. "
