An entry? Me?
So I ended up going to Lolapalooza yesterday with Valerie who I haven't seen in ages. (well, a year) I saw Kill Hannah and the Dresden Dolls right afterwords. The Dresden Dolls put on a great show, I haven't seen them that energized for a few shows. I was afraid Brian had got all tamed and stuff, but nope, not the case.
As if Amanda heeded my advice from the Summerfest gig, they played more songs off the new album, including Dalilah and Mrs. O. I wish they would play Sing and Backstabber too, though.
I was never really keeping track but some kids asked me how many times I've sen the Dresden Dolls live, and I figured out this was my 6th time. For Kill Hannah it must be something like a dozen. There was a CD store so I bought the new Kill Hannah Album. (Bought the DD one forever ago aof course)
Kill Hannah just posted on myspace saying that Deadsy will be there today. 30 Seconds to Mars is there too and KH will be watching both. Looks like I am making a return trip. (For free, mind you, I got a three day pass from som scalper for the price of a one day.)
Anyway, that was a good fucking day.
