when is it going to end???
This has been the longest week I've had in a while. I'm a drama queen...but it's been crazy. We found two dogs on Sunday night, and they pretty much took over until Tuesday night when the owners called. They were very sweet though. One was a german shepherd-husky mix and the other was some sort of dalmation mix. I am full of dog-love now.
I worked 14 hours Monday, 7 hours Tuesday, 11 hours Wednesday and today is going to end up at 11. It's good money-wise but I'm kinda tired. My next day off is Sunday. I'm excited for Sunday though cause it's girls-only-cards night. Or afternoon. We might do high tea. heehee. I want to make those little sandwiches without any crusts.
My new year's resolution was being a better friend and I think I've done a half-ass job so far. I haven't failed, but I don't think I've put enough into those relationships. Resolving my living situation is going to be a big part of the solution to this problem I think. I hope.
I really don't like being in a reflective mood. I can't do anything else. My plans so far for my no-boy weekend include cleaning my apartment, doing laundry, crocheting my dish towels, and giving away a lot to Value Village. The problem with that is that when you give stuff to VV or Goodwill, you kinda have to go to the actual store, which means you will probably be compelled to shop. Just a little bit.
