Today was a good day

I woke up and went to get the paper. It was early, (for hippies I mean), no one was around, it was eleven in the morning, the sun was shining on the field. I read my paper in the grass. A friend of mine walked by. We discussed the virtues of living off campus. I'm going to, I mean to find an apartment somewhere between downtown and campus. I went home and had some juice for lunch. I read my homework on the hill. It meant something more then, when I wasn't confined to the stink and darkness of my bedroom. I am sick of having a room mate by the way. He contributes to the stink quite a deal. I finished my homework by four, then took a nap in the sun. Watched some TV. Then I was reminded of no pants day, what a great holiday.

Simple pleasures make my life worth living.
