(no subject)
So normally in the "down time" at work I check my livejournal and attempt to appear like I'm keeping busy. Today however Larry walked by on his way to drop mail off and bug Tina and noticed that I was on livejournal. Automatic response was to close it and pick up ctos and such, on his way back to his desk he gave a hint on how to find his account as he was not going to give it to me right out - note - I did not volunteer my account but I was not set against providing the information in one way or another. In short, I found his account on Livejournal and as a tease most likely in an effort to see if I would really attempt to find him he wrote this:
"i saw one of my coworkers with the lj page up and told them i was on lj...they were too chicken to tell me their username so i told them they'd have to search out mine...though i said i have ball hockey on my interests lists so they only have to search through 56...not too many, of course i am near the end but i think some of them are female and can be eliminated...so welcome shelagh, hope you had some happy searching...ha ha...too bad the prize wasn't worth the effort...ha ha..."
In other news I was feeling completely exhausted this morning on my way to work and my dad was insanely chipper on the phone and wanted to see me asap, which right away told me that there was news he wanted to tell me and I hate not knowing but couldn't for the life of me figure out what it could possibly be. it turns out that *drum roll* my dad and his girlfriend are getting married in May. I'm happy and excited for them but it's taking time to settle in, in a way it feels like it was a dream I had or something. I probably could have handled it better but I'll make it up to them soon enough.
