The thing is, I already based why Namine never really replaced Kairi in the Memories, so by definition of course I disagree with her claims about Kairi.
Way I see it, it was to push Sora's attention away from her. If he kept on going believing Namine was his most important person, he'd have ended up as Marluxia's pawn. Without anyone else telling Sora otherwise, Marluxia's plan would've been a success - and just like Axel said, no one else would've told Sora otherwise.
The thing is, that had she simply told him "look, I was never really there", it wouldn't have been enough. Even with that said, Sora still agreed to have Namine mind-wipe him completely, just so Marluxia won't hurt her.
Just saying "this is fake" wasn't enough - she had to make him believe there was an alternative, otherwise Sora'd have said "well, we'll make this real!" which he ended up doing, but while having Namine restore his real Memories.
Had Namine refrained from telling him Kairi was his most important person, Sora might not have pulled away sufficiently. She had to push him away from her, not just tell him it was all a lie.
And let's look at the circumstances -
KH1 didn't convince me in SoKai.
The main SoNami moments? Hardly ones Kairi was in, especially the one with the Promise, which 'took place' on the night Kairi only arrived to the Islands.
And of course, the circumstances which directly led to that supposed fact to be said - it was when Namine got up from her chair and came to see Sora with the explicit intention of not only telling him the truth, but also stopping him from going along with the rest of it.
In a sense, her offering him to stay with her can be used to back this up. With Marluxia gone, Sora'd be in no danger of being with Namine, so why shouldn't they be together? Had it truly been harmful towards Sora, why offer him that choice? And then once he made a choice, she as though pushed him all the way to it.
And of course we have the fact that Namine did integrate herself into some Memories with Kairi and was her Nobody, so Kairi being the Key to Sora's Memories is, again - plot related. It's not because she's the most important, otherwise, hm, I think that constantly running into Riku's Replica would've gotten some bells ringing in Sora's mind.
That has nothing to do with how much Sora cares - or doesn't - about Kairi.
And zomg. Yey <3

The point remains that Kairi is most important.
If it comes down to a question of SoKai Vs. SoNami wouldn't that almost certainly point to SoKai?
but then again you did say that even if SoKai happened. (ZOMG) that it would still be SoNami in a way so...

Having been just about brainwashed about how much Kairi means to Sora - and what would Organization Nobodies know about that sort of thing, especially when they were playing more on Namine's lack of self worth in light of being Kairi's Nobody - Namine would naturally aim Sora at Kairi, whom she believes to be important to Sora.
Many would argue she saw how important Kairi was in his Memories, but then - why didn't we ever get to see that? Why did we only get to see everything I brought up in the essay?
Kairi's only important because Namine said so.
Sora says otherwise.
And seeing how Sora ended up remembering Namine to a debatable degree, I doubt SoKai'll happen even more, beyond Nomura seemingly not rushing in to canonize any couple.
