CHARACTER INFO
CHARACTER NAME: (Timothy Hearst
SERIES: D. Gray-Man
RESERVED: No
WISHLIST: No, but you know you want him anyways.
PERSONALITY:
Timothy is a stubborn, strong-willed, and rambunctious nine-year old. Thick-headed and tends to act before thinking, he prefers acting like he knows what’s going on even if he may not even have a clue. Like most young boys he tries acting older than he really is and can be very self-assured in his actions, especially when it comes to things he wants and things he aims for accomplishing. He doesn’t think about the consequences of his actions, like those of his thefts, or how they may affect other people unless they begin to directly affect him or those close to him.
He also cares very much for his family at the orphanage. He risked being caught by the law while stealing valuable items to help fund the orphanage and later on risked his own life to save the lives of his surrogate family. Essentially, he is very loyal to those he cares about and although he may act all high and mighty with an ego the size of Texas state 99.9% of the time he has a good heart deep down with good intentions.
TIMELINE: ... From before the Great Mess of 187.
BACKGROUND:
Timothy led a rough childhood in France before his time in the orphanage. His father was abusive and a thief, going as far as to shoving a priceless jewel down his son's throat to hide it from the police when they ransacked their home/current hiding spot. Timothy's bitterness towards adults and authority figures most likely stemmed from these events. After his father was caught the jewel Timothy had unwillingly swallowed appeared on his forehead in a third-eye like fashion, thus forcing him to wear a bandanna to hide it from view. Inspector Galmar (the man who initially commanded the police force to ransack Timothy's home for his father) brought Timothy to the orphanage where his (the inspector's) daughter, Emilia, worked as a teacher. Living there for two years the small boy found a family in that place and grew to love the head nun or otherwise known as the Director as a mother.
In that year he learned that he could possess people - although not knowing how - he began to steal priceless items and selling them, donating the money anonymously to the orphanage. He had no idea how his actions affected those who he had possessed (they all wound up in prison, suspected of thievery, of course) and would have continued on obliviously if it weren't for the Black Order. After one night of stealing a crown Allen Walker and Kanda Yuu intercepted him. In the end the crown was lost and Timothy retreated, crying. Unfortunately for him this was how he was tracked down by Noise Marie (go super hearing!).
When he was tracked down to the orphanage the boy and Allen were reunited by Emilia's flying kick to the back of Timothy's head, slamming his forehead into Allen's and successfully (unwillingly) possessing him. The beans were spilled and the cat escaped the bag. The gig was up.
After talk of taking Timothy back to the Order because of his Innocence the building was surrounded and trapped by Skulls - worker bees of the Earl, if you will - and then attacked by a Level 4 Akuma and a few lesser Levels. It was during this attack Timothy fully activated his Innocence, revealing Divine Possession, or Tsukikami. Unfortunately at his level of synch ratio he could only successfully destroy Level 2s. His hair was also turned teal due to the activation.
In the end the exorcists won and Timothy agreed to go to the Order (with a few strings attached) so that he could protect his family back home.
ABILITIES:
So far Timothy's offense abilities are nadda. Although his synch rate is unknown he can take down (alone) a Level 2 Akuma (which is more than what Allen could take down at the beginning- HAHA, SUCK ON THAT MAIN CHARACTER).
From what is seen in canon he can posses people and Akuma through divine possession. Through possession Timothy is granted all original abilities of the host and when he possesses Akuma they are shape shifted into more childish shaped creatures made purely of innocence. Once he leaves them (the akuma) they disintegrate. He cannot fight anything above a Level 2, but the more he uses Tsukikami the more his synch rate will grow.
Timothy is also quite skilled at stealing.
