ode to broken souls-

Jan 19, 2004 00:31

when in a garden roses it's best not to toy with the hearts of the wilted blossoms.
the fairer of the bunch may have a more vibrant glare, and the wilted a faded complexion...
but dont play in a garden of roses, their thorns are just as sharp; but the nectar is far sweeter than most.
Perhaps it's because they've seen more rain than the fresher roses.
they too will rise again, much like the fresher bunch; but in their rising you'll notice that they'll have outgrown them. The younger roses will be stunted having not had the sweet call of maturity to lure the honey bees to their hearts, and the used will be fresher and more vibrant.
how undeserving are the hands that pass over these treasures; but how quickly a lesson is learned by those who pluck blindly by the stem, never judge a book by it's cover.
