(Being forced to) confront every relationship fear and insecurity I have ever had. Identifying the sources and recognizing patterns of behavior, surprising what you think is resolved and what isn't. ____ may be the first woman I have ever met who has laid bare the world before me, who has shown me so vividly what is truly important and what isn't, and in utter defiance of this foggy terrain so clearly shown me the way forward. Facing the possibility of not being with her saddens me deeply, but I must be able to handle that possibility. The connection is there, that I am absolutely certain of, focusing my energies now on growing and strengthening that connection.
