Not a good night sleep last night. Watched the game at Andrew's. Dre made a really good dinner and I got to play with their niece Taylor (she's such a spaz) which was fun. Slept through most of the game but Andrew's Dad was nice enough to wake me up in the 9th - I'm really glad he did...it was baseball history and I'm glad I saw it (unlike Aaron Boone's home run last year that I missed cause I turned to Mom and said "Well there's an automatic out!" and she started screaming...oopsie!). Got mildly irritated with Andrew during the game...but whatever, it was stupid, I'm over it...I just don't know what more my nice Sox fans want out of me *sigh*...do they want me to convert? Cause that is so NOT happening...but I'm getting tangenty right now so forget that...Still very glad they won, I mean honest-to-God-genuinely-happy for Effie and Andrew and vampkiss and Sara...but I'm on edge this morning...waiting for some asshole to say something stupid...hopefully I'll be wrong. Saw a couple burned-out spray painted cars on my drive in as well as several ripped down and smashed street signs *sigh* I'll never understand that mentality of "Yay we won now lets go trash stuff" and it's not by any means a Boston thing...stupid drunk people I suppose. Now I must start looking for World Series T-shirts - going to get one for Andrew, his Dad, and Dre's boyfriend again...if Mom or Dad find out I'm going to really hear it!!!
Oh so did anyone else get to see the total lunar eclipse last night??? Way cool! Last time I saw one (and I think it was only a partial) was with Kelly coming back from the library senior year *happy sigh* Our hot chocolate runs!!! hehehe remember, Kelly, it looked like a toaster and the Serta logo ;) I miss Kelly :( But she has an lj now!!! Yay I can harass you forever and ever, miss myfortunecookie ^_^
By the way, crackers4jenn, did you ever get the links to the images I sent you for the icons I was curious if you could make for me? There were three of them. Let me know and I can always resend them ^_^ You rock for being willing to do that by the way!
So like I said I got like no sleep last night...just couldn't for the life of me. And nearly drove off the road a few times dozing off...turning down the heat didn't work, drinking water didn't work, not even hitting my face every now and then to snap me out of it...just so incredibly exhausted until I get here, work, the 5th ring of Hell. But whatever. No really surprised in the no sleepy department last night, what with what's been going on lately. I've been meaning to talk about it (a few of you know) but there are some mutual friends involved and I don't want to freak them out (it's not about me...so no worries). Life has just turned up the nob on the the complication factor. I'll just say I'm getting pretty fed up with always having to just sit back and watch...I hate being so freaking helpless!!!
Definitely in a blah, crappy, over-thinking sort of mood. Happiness this morning = listening to the CD fewmets made for me and really thinking about the lyrics to "Camera One". That really is an amazing song (hence the icon and it's lyrics)!
For once I'm not looking forward to seeing Erin today...I know she's going to bug me all day long about going to the Sox parade on Friday and there is no way I'm going! Why can't she get that? She started on it yesterday and finally ended with "You're just a poor sport aren't you?" I'm about 80% sure she was kidding but I love when stuff like that is your last parting words of the day. I really need a nap...I'm feeling quite cranky...
Oh and joy of joys (can you feel the sarcasim?)...Stupid has gone from working 3 days a week to 4 now *sigh* so she's back again today...I think I've definitely pissed off some great cosmic power...Oh well, at least I have fewmets cd to listen to today...tomorrow I'm bringing in Candice's GOTR one ;)
