I had an amazing Valentine's day. :) I hope everybody else enjoyed their's too.
I got on the waiting list for University of Michigan. To tell the truth, I'm not really that upset because I've been leaning towards Eastern since the end of December. I'll get to go to the honors college, and they have an amazing program for my major. So I'm pretty much decided on Eastern.
Speaking of college, I can't wait to move out. I know it sounds like the typical teenage bullshit complaint, but I feel like I'm outgrowing my environment. There is so much tension between me and my mom, it's crazy. It'd be nice to go through one day not being told that something I do is wrong or that I'll never do this right. My mom once questioned if I would even get into college. I mean, an A- average is so horrible. And that time she was mad that I quit NHS. I got into 3 schools, got scholarships, and am going into an honors program. I've come to a point where I don't really care what she says any more. I just block it out. I've proved her wrong, and that's really all I care about.
