(no subject)
i have two days off in a row again, which is becoming some strange little habit for me. highly unlikely in retail, at least to happen so regularly. in any case, it means that i get to enjoy myself as thoroughly as i see fit, but i'm lame so it really just means that i have a ton of free time and i'm kinda bored.
i've been spending some time lately reading law school prep books, scaring the crap out of myself. i'm feeling more pressure now that i know i'm going to alabama, given that i'll have to ink in approximately two hours worth of driving each day because there's no way i'm moving to tuscaloosa (easy for me to say now, i guess) and also because i guess i take it more seriously than cumberland. i think we're now at 68 days until i quit my job.
to change the subject a bunch, i'm already so sick of the presidential race. this is the first time since i was little that i don't really care. i haven't bothered to research anyone much, so if it hasn't been reported in the mainstream media, i probably don't know about it. i just saw some headline online about bill clinton saying there's been a cover up or some shit, that hillary is winning the popular vote and people are just trying to get her down. i've always really liked bill clinton. hillary, meh. but seriously, i don't know if it's just the news i've been reading or what, but ol' bill has been coming off as kind of a dipshit through this whole thing. he might just be saying/doing the same sort of stuff that cindy mccain (btw, spackled-on makeup much?) and michelle obama are doing, but he's just catching more flak 'cause he's an ex prez. still, though, i just want to put my hand over his mouth and tell him to STFU before i lose more respect for him.
