Mountain, April Wine and Deep Purple! Yay!! It was incredible… Mountain opened strong, played some of their claMountain, April Wine and Deep Purple! Yay!! It was incredible… Mountain opened strong, played some of their classics, more notably ‘Mississippi Queen’. April Wine was crazay great because ya know, its APRIL WINE!! They played a bunch of their songs and it was good… then they played *gasp* ‘SIGN OF THE GYPSY QUEEN’!! I looooove that soooong... And then, Deep Purple came on. And there was many a guitar God craziness and many a long-haired men cheering and singing as the band played 'Hush', 'Demon's Eye', and la pièce de résistance 'Smoke on the Water'(they played more songs than that OBVIOUSLY(!!) but I dont remember them all). The lead singer was barefoot which was sorta perculiar and the guy on the keyboards had like a 5 minute solo-type thing where he took care to include the Star Wars theme song and the Canadian national anthem... commendable cause it sounded sweet all laced together and what not. AND!! I got a t-shirt... which was a nice little plus. All round twaz great... and Uncle Rob liked it too.
(The weird thing was that I kinda wish I had brought Chill-boy because we totally coulda made-out during April Wine's performance... definitely!)
Amba thinks I do not update enough. I mean, I can understand where she be coming from... I was updating everyday for about 2.5 months. Sorry babey, gonna try and keep ya posted more often...
Sat in Wambera's chair for half-an-hour today(and I fell partially asleep) cause he wouldnt stop talking to another patient. FINALLY Dayna came over and realized that she could just fix it herself... so it took her all of 10 seconds to fix my vicious bracket and off I went. Damn him... damn orthodontists that are having their 3rd midlife crisis.
Math exam was today... and it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be! Hurray for being over with!
I registered for my LU classes today. I am going. No backing down now. Film studies is my elective!!
