Let slip the poodle of war
I realise that everyone's linked to this already, but I just can't help myself: Yo Blair: the full transcript. I particularly like Tony's little joke about the sweaters. To him, I suspect that it's funny because he is a man, and an important one at that. A man who does not have time for such foolish things and wouldn't know where to start if he did. To the rest of us, it's pretty clear that if the POTUS said 'Yo Blair, knit me a sweater,' he'd have six done by tea-time.
Incidentally, I do hope they get that trade thingy sorted out...
News from the fashion world! According to the spread from our September issue that I've been editing this afternoon, puffa - or 'eiderdown' - jackets are in this season. This depresses me for two reasons. Firstly, puffa jackets are back. And secondly, this is the first time that I remember the last time when something was fashionable. This makes me feel officially Old :(
