well, it's going to be in december
and there's probably going to be some kind of nuclear winter, or volcanic eruption, or martians or something
and everyone will probably be living on farms
there's a lot of books about it, but I guess conspiracy sells

2012 is just the date the Mayans said the world would end, and they were pretty good at predicting other things like eclipses, so who knows
