Tired, But MissionS Accmplished! :)

Yesterday's gift-giving event at the Malacañang palace was a very tiring, yet fulfilling experience!:) Gawd, I just had a three-hour sleep the other night, 'coz I had to wake up at 3am for our Simbang Madaling Araw (that's what we call it in our church), then go straight to CSB to meet the people I'll go to Malacañang with. There were seven of us who met in school... Len, Chachi, Dadi Tobs, Andre, Sir Peej, Pam (Norlan) and me. I thought I was late, 'coz I already arrived at 6:40 am, yun pala ako pa nauna! Pinoy nga naman!:) The CSB SC and SF officers were also there in Malacañang. We served as volunteers do'n together with the LEAP (Leaders for East Asian Progress if I remember it right) members who came from different schools. The event was an outreach program by the first gentleman, but his family and the President were also present... shempre naman... pampaganda ng image!:) So 'yun, we distributed foods and gifts, as well as we served as "bouncers" ng mga kids during the program, wherein "nakuyog" talaga kami nina Andre at Toby in front... grabe!:) Naapakan pa 'yung damit ko at napahiga talaga 'ko!:) And we had to stay under the scorching heat of the sun for almost 2 hours just to do those things. Honestly, I'm not so much into outreach projects like that, but I felt fulfilled. They were even calling me "congresswoman", 'coz I was very jolly and friendly at parang kumakandidato. Kasi, lahat ng binibigyan ko ng gifts, may free Christmas greeting pa with a smile and a tap on the back... Malay natin, magpulitika rin pala ako someday! Why not?:) Going back, grabe, I almost fell on the ground sa init at sobrang hilo. Peo okay lang, may pic naman ako with the first granddaughter Mikaela Gloria na buhat ko s'ya, kasi bigla ko tinawag nung nagpi-picture. Cute-cute n'ya!:) And sulit naman lahat ng pagod 'coz after that, we had our free lunch sa Max's Roxas Blvd... what a hearty meal... chicken of course, kare-kare, super crispy daing na bangus, sinigang na hipon, liempo, buko pandan, and bottomless iced tea! Talap-talap!:)

I had to do my rush Christmas shopping after that, so we all went to Glorietta. Humiwalay muna 'ko sa kanila for 2 hours to concentrate on my shopping... Gift-giving na kasi within the family later at 12mn, so rush na talaga ito! I bought an elegant casual bag (kahit di naman signature) for my sis, a blouse for my lola, a pair of blouse and pants for my mom, boxers and brief (Bench) for my dad, jogging pants pang-aerobics for my ninang, blouse for Tita Fely, and si Dana (my younger sis) na bahala sa gift for Tito Raf and Ron-ron. We met at U after that and kasama na namin si Mother. We accompanied Dadi Tobs in buying a Nokia 6210 unit for his SUN sim, then had our dinner at Food Choices, where Ate Che (Cha's cuz) was there. I'm so happy for Dadi Tobs, 'coz seems like super happy rin s'ya that he can finally use his SUN sim nang 'di nakiki-insert sa fone ng mom n'ya. Hehe!:)

I was too sleepy na, so Len and I had to go home. Okay lang, kasi adventure naman ika nga!:) Sa FX, Andre called me up to tell me that he saw me sa TV Patrol, kasi televised nga pala 'yung event sa Malacañang. 'Di ko na naman nakita ko sarili ko sa TV for the 3rd time... una sa Myx, then sa Wazzup2, then ngayon sa TV Patrol... tsk, sayang! hehe!:)

Naka-text ko si Chestnut nung gabi, and wawa naman, 'coz one of his first two dogs died na, and the others got thinner na and nagbubuhol-buhol na raw ang hair, 'coz wala nang nag-aalaga... iba na kasi inaalagaan ni Dadi Chestnut nila dito... hehe!:) I told him about my pic w/ Mikaela, kasi ever since, we are both fascinated with cute-cute babies... 'yung sa Seaside, sa Ayala Heights, and even the pics of babies na inupload namin sa friendster account n'ya... those super to the max cute pics really make my day!:) Kung kay Mother, "i love kanin!", sa'kin naman, "i love babies!" as in! haay... miss ko na si Chestnut! Sabi pa n'ya naninibago s'ya, kasi magkaibang-magkaiba 'pag nasa Cebu s'ya at 'pag andito s'ya... what he means are his roles, status, etc. Oh well, elaborate this na lang next time.

Basta yesterday was a great day!:) Tired, but missionS accomplished!:)
