It Feels Great to Have a Vast Horizon of Friends!
These are the entries that I wasn’t able to make, because I was so excited to write about our Sunday adventure yesterday. So to make up for them, here are they…
Last Sept. 24, Friday, was ALSO’s General Assembly. Actually, biglaan lang, ‘coz sobrang tagal mag-confirm ng MyX re: their sponsors, list of equipment, etc. Almost madaling araw na kami nakapag-inform sa members re: the assembly, but I’m glad there were still some who came. Meron pang new members who were recruited by April and other new members, kaya nakakatuwa. We have 2 new trainees, namely Jackie and Ciege. Steph was supposed to discuss the MyX project, but she was in Araneta w/ Steve and Tin, because they bought tickets for Sunday’s game (La Salle vs FEU). Russ and I were kinda disappointed at her, but di naman masyado ‘coz sobrang repsonsible naman ‘tong batang ‘to. Nagkataon lang na almost 5 hours sila pumila sa Araneta. I love this anak of mine!

1st Circle of Leaders module namin sa PrepTeam from 4-7pm. We had it in La Salle’s Conservatory. It was an inspiring module. After that, we ate at Tropical Hut. Grabe, negative na naman kami. Bigla ko kasing naalala ‘yung mukha ni Nes na ginagaya si ****. Tawang-tawa talaga ‘ko!:)
After eating, we went to Prov na for Season 8. The contestants were Jun of AIM, Russ of ALSO, Denize of Comlink, Cha of ALSO, Joan of CBA, and Jan of PrepTeam. Joan got the Season 8 champion title, while Cha was considered the wild card since she got the highest score among the 1st runner-ups. Nakakatuwa 'coz each office such as OCA, OSA, SAO, and SPU was in Prov that time. Lumalagare nga yung iba sa diff rooms e.:)

Btw, di kami natuloy sa Seaside, ‘coz Ms. J, Alvin, and Nes already went there with the APLYC (Asia Pacific Lasallian Youth COngress) participants. Di na rin sila nakahabol sa Season 8. Nagsisisi kami ni Rom na di kami nakasama sa APLYC. We hope we applied, parang ang saya e! Oh well, don’t cry over spilled milk, Nikki! Maybe next time!:)
Len and I slept in Cha’s house. 1:30pm na kami nakarating do’n. Len drove Cha’s car. Asteeg!!! Girls on the road!:)

Sept 25, Saturday, I woke up at 7am, kasi 9am call time ko for pictorial sa Blueprint newsletter. They need to take my pic, ‘coz I’m their special writer for the term.
Had lunch at Red Ribbon with Sir Peej, Toby, Robbie, Vince and Jun. Jun’s magic tricks were really amazing… he really has what it takes to be a known magician. Russ, Ethel, and Alex came. Pinag-tripan na nmn ako nina Sir PJ. They were teasing me to Alex. Sabi ko lang nmn may hitsura, binigyan na ng malisya.:)
By the way, nalungkot ako sa sinabi ni Robbie. He asked me kasi when I’m graduating. I told him na this term na. Sabi ba naman na sana raw di ko na lang sila nakilala, ‘coz iiwan ko rin pala sila agad. O diba ang drama?:) Pero in fairness, I was touched and nalungkot at the same time. I hate to leave CSB, esp. when I realize the bunch of people I'm leaving... aahhh, the feeling sucks! Although I’m dying to graduate na rin.
We cleaned ALSO cubicle. We sorted out the trash from the old documents and from the important ones. Nakakatuwa ‘yung bonding habang naglilinis ng cube and gumagawa ng bulletin. I love ALSO so much! I really have the passion for this org...kung ngayon ngang 'di naman ako President, i've done so much for it, what more if I was the President? anyway, one doesn't have to be in a position naman to do soemthing for his org, diba?:)
Saturday is our movie day!!!:) We waited for Ms. J, Nes, Red, and Alvin, who had their immersion processing ‘til 7:30 pm na yata. At 1st, medyo nainip na kami, but good thing we thought of a simple kiddy game to keep ourselves alive while we had our dinner in Jollibee. I-aadopt ko na lang yung entry ni Len, hirap mag-explain e. Here it is…
Len’s entry --> What happened in Jollibee was a phenomenon! We were laughing our hearts out! We found joy in as simple as writing a vote on a piece of cut receipt doing drawlots of what we are ought to get jiggidy! Wow! It was fantastic! can't get enough of it! We still waited for Ms. J and the rest of the gang at the airport. As soon as they were through, we went off to RP right away to catch the 7:40 sked. some of us watched Feng Shui (rom, henri, jun, and ethel) and the rest namely Ms. j, len, cha, me, russell, alvin, red, nes and toby watched 13 Going on 30. The film was kinda mababaw and pretty predictable. It makes me think that there really is one GREAT LOVE intended for each individual and your critical decisions and choices in life matters, which might make you regret the rest of your lifetime.
Ms. J, Toby, Nes, Red, and Alvin were left inside the movie house, while the rest of us already went home. Rom was so scared of Feng Shui. Buti kasama n’ya kami ni Russ umuwi. May pasalubong sa’kin sina Mama na food from Sky High, so I ate late dinner before I slept.
All I can say is, IT FEELS GREAT TO HAVE A VAST HORIZON OF FRIENDS!:)
