Invation to Join this Community of Activists
Hey everybody...
Your faithful designer tragicmouse here and after permission from miss fmdjgirl, I'd like to extend an invitation to all of you to join call_to_action.
It's a community that chooses a cause and does all it can to benefit the cause through craft sales, fundraisers, benefits, donations, and more.
Naturally, our current cause is Hurricane Katrina.
We have a number of projects in the works alongside the typical outreaches to Red Cross.
We are producing a compilation benefit CD
We are putting together a discount book for DIY/Crafters
We are prepared to act on whatever the crisis relief authorities ask us for.
In less than 24 hours, we had 90 members.
Please take a moment to swing by, pick up a banner for your infopage & pimp us to your friends.
Feel free to post advertisements if you're selling with proceeds to the cause.
Feel free to offer brainstorms & suggestions.
If you're a musician and would like to be on the compilation, let me know.
