Where I come from, the only people with magic were gods. Y'know, like Zeus an' Hera an' Hermes an' Hephaestus an' all o' them. Oh, Artemis says I hafta include her whenever I list gods or goddesses. So Artemis is one of 'em too, just so you know. They'd make sure there was food, watch over their people, an' stuff like that.

I don't really think they're Ancestors o' anybody but other gods though.
