The city was destroyed... by something that could have been avoided if the warnings had been heeded. Fortunately, it was restored, but the threat remains.

I take responsibility for my lack of foresight and I will do everything in my power to see that it does not happen again.

... A meteor. I take personal responsibility over the man who summoned it. However, there are others here who put their own lives in danger to reverse the damage that was done. They've proven capable of defending themselves, I only mean to assist them in preventing another crisis.

So basically, one of your cohorts went nuts? I've had that happen. There's usually nothing that you can do about it. Except kill them or find something really blunt to knock them out with.
