wow. I haven't updated in a LONG time.
what is there to say?
it's cold in dover. it was hot last week, and come monday, it's literally freezing outside. 34 degrees and i decide to start back my gym habit. i've lost about 4ish pounds since last week. feels nice. it's easier to eat soup and tuna when ronny is not home, so then i don't feel like going out for chinese or buffalo wild wings all the time. next week is the last week of class. i have ONE MORE SEMESTER and then i can FINALLY graduate. I don't want to be a 6th year senior. Five was plenty.
this is how it looks
Block 1 (Jan 8-Mar 1)
Psy 406- tests and measurements M 10-3
Psy 315- Group Dynamics W 10-3
Sci 335- Anatomy/Phys with lab T 530-930
Independent study (so i can get my research proposal worked up for the seminar next block, which i was screwed over on a few weeks back. because in my PSY 220 at USA, we didn't do a research proposal, and WC's research class does....)
Block 2 (Mar 5-Apr 29)
PSY 490- internship
SDL 300- Life Planning T 130-400
PSY 408- seminar in behavioral science (modular F 6-9, Sat 9-5, Sun 9-5, March 2-4, March 16-18)
then....dunh dunh dunh GRADUATION!!!!! hopefully.
i'm so sick of school. i'm so sick of papers. i'm sick of essays and lectures and all the bullshit. i want to get out in the real world and USE my piece of paper. put some dents in it. join the air force and be the base psychologist. did i just say that? yes. i think that i'm going to actually do it.
i dreamt last night that my boss fired me over my school schedule. i can't help that i'm trying to fit all of these classes in so i can be fucking finished. if she doesn't like it (i left her a tentative copy of my schedule, and i am pretty sure that she isn't going to like it at all. there are a lot of days that I usually work that i just simply won't be able to. i am not going to stress myself of push my limits these last few weeks.)
i have to go shower and get ready for class.
my goal for this week is to finish the readings for next week and tonight and finish Freud paper by tomorrow at noon
next week: finish short paper 2, presentation, readings, study for final
For this month: lose 10 pounds by christmas
gotta run.
