My 'Dexter' review:

Friday afternoon I received an e-mail from someone saying they had read my journal and they thought I might be able to help them.
You see, there's this new show that premieres tonight at 9 on Showtime called 'Dexter'. It's about a man who works in forensics at the Miami, Florida police department and helps to find serial killers. But get this, the man himself is a serial killer. Interested? I was too. Not interested, maybe this will appeal to you:
The star of this show was also the star of a little known HBO show called 'Six Feet Under', Michael C. Hall.
I promise, this is a new and different character. I couldn't name another like it in all of television.

Anyway, I digress *wink*. So, in this e-mail there was a link...a link to watch this up-and-coming pilot. My interest completely peeked, I watched it. I must say, my hour was not wasted. Instead my hour was filled with intrigue and wonder, confusion and...suspense? Yes, but a different kind then that of your run of the mill crime show. This kind of suspense with only be quelled when I see the next episode.

So, even if you think the show really isn't your thing, give it a shot. If for nothing else, so you can see what this actor is up to.
Oh, and if I forgot to mention, for all you Angel/Buffy fans out there (I know at least half of my friends would droll on Joss' shoe) there is a nice not-so-tiny part played by one Julie Benz (you might know her as Darla), who (if imdb is correct) is set to be in at least 11 episodes.

So, give Dexter a try Tonight @ 9 ct on Showtime
