Sometimes it strikes close to home / Fwd: HANG IN THERE BABE (JPG attached)

It could happen to you. Your aunt/father/cousin/grandmother wants to see some pictures, and you say, "I could e-mail them to you." without even thinking. "If you have an e-mail address, that is." you quickly add.

Oh, they "do e-mail" alright. You take it and send them the photos, or recipe, or whatever. Maybe you even add the address to your address book. You forget about it.

Five days later, terror strikes.

Your inbox contains an e-mail with the subject
[FW: Fwd: Worth a look........."Remember"]
from your relative. It's a youtube link to a sappy montage entreating you to support our troops (who some people hate, according to the montage.)

Whatever. Delete.

The next day:
[Why women are better than men- Funny!]
Why would she send you a female oriented sexist jokes? Reverse genders implied here if that makes it more confusing.

The next day:
[Fwd: FW: Fwd: Support our schools]
Apparently if we invite God into our schools Columbine/Virginia Tech/etc never would have happened. Nevermind that your relative isn't particularly religous and you've been out as pagan since `95.

The next day:
[Fwd: How to tell if your ass is too big]
Nope, not even opening that one.

Aurgh. Welcome to address book spam. This could happen to anyone, at any time. Do you know what to do? What do you do? WHAT DO YOU DO?!?
