Updates
Long time no post.
Well, there are some changes going on in my life, so I guess it's time for an update.
I've been working in the University of Denver Office of News and Public Affairs since mid-February, covering for an employee who is out on maternity leave. That job will be ending May 12. A friend of the family has opened a new restaurant/events center, and I have been working there since Monday, as a hostess and web person. We have a Facebook page now ("Leo Goto's Riverfront"), but the website that's up is still for the old restaurant that used to be in that location. It's part-time until the DU job ends, and then I will become a full-time hostess. We haven't had a grand opening yet, because the staff is still very small, and we don't want to be overwhelmed.
Other than that, there's not too much going on. One of the rooms in the basement flooded recently, but the carpeting soaked up the water. We've had fans blowing on it for a while, and are having it professionally dried and cleaned soon.
