Wanted Digimon Escaped Capture
Wanted criminal and Partner to the late tamer Dr. Finitevus, a Black V-mon a.k.a. "Black", was found in the Hyperion this Last Saturday, January 15th. DATS was notified by a member of Hyperion Security, one Sadamitsu Tsubaki that captured him and was holding him in custody at the establishment.
Another known criminal calling herself Sako arrived on the scene and aided in Black's escape. DATS agents responded to the scene but both criminals were able to flee the scene. Mr. Tsubaki was injured during the escape and was rushed to Neon General Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries and placed in critical care. He is, however, expected to make a full recovery.
The DATS agent on-scene Harpuia had no comment to reporters at the time of the incident, pending further investigation of the assault and escape.
Black and Sako are still at large and are to be considered extremely dangerous. Tamers are discouraged from engaging either Black or Sako, and any information about their whereabouts are to be reported to DATS.

Memorial Statue Defaced
TigerVespamon memorial statue defaced in Tetha. Perpetrator was identified as an Omekamon, who claimed to have no memory of events after being apprehended. Chief Owlmon had no comment on these events.

Protests Over Taxation
Protests over Vikemon's new taxation policy were held on three separate occasions in Axoryi. Scrapyard the Andromon, head of the dock worker's union, organized all three protests. No injuries or casualties were sustained during the events, though one protest did turn momentarily violent. Despite this, Vikemon gave no response to these events. Chances of a decrease in the tax are unlikely at this time.
Axyori Teashop Renovations
Axoyri's Magical Tea Shop branch will be undergoing minor renovations this week, however business will only be closed for the weekend. Manager Duo Maxwell encourages patrons to continue visiting even during the renovations and promises they'll be pleasantly surprised by the new interior and deck that's being built to accommodate seating during the warmer months.
Stolen Diamond Returned
The Araki Diamond that readers may recall was threatened by the Kaitou Kid on the 15th of this month was stolen as he promised with only minor interference from DATS agent HAST Miria.

The Kid escaped that night and the diamond was returned in an unmarked envelope two days later. So far agent Miria has refused to comment on the incident.
Interest in the cultural exhibit has spiked since the heist and the world can't help but wonder, what's next for the charming thief of legend?
New Casino to Open in Neon City
So-called former criminal and crime boss known only as "The Penmon" announced the building of a new lounge and casino in Neon City. The Penmon was once held by DATS under suspicion of aiding the criminal Akihiro Kurata, but was released as part of a prisoner exchange. He was pardoned recently by Chaosdramon. Further details on the casino will be released at a later date.
