[ SO TOTALLY OPEN VOICE-TESTING PARTY POST ]

Dec 26, 2010 18:35

[ Vince steps through one of the many doors in the warehouse, into the wide open room that has gained something of a homey feel to it. Games, snack tables, big puffy chairs and couches perfect for lounging in... and a few signs on the walls emblazoned with ⚠ PLEASE DON'T TRY TO GO HOME, THE DOORS MIGHT BE DANGEROUS ⚠Not so bad, right? Wrong ( Read more... )

let's ignore that the voice is still oh so very vague... climokinetic December 31 2010, 21:16:27 UTC
[Have a very, very confused Travis coming in through a different door, which also conveniently disappears once he's closed it behind him.

He whirls around about half a second too late, curses under his breath, then warily starts walking around the room, sort of spinning as he does so in order to take everything in. He stops at one of the signs, reads it over, and scoffs before resuming his room-wandering.]

So. Don't know if anyone noticed, but this? Isn't the kitchen.

[ Vince gives Travis a somewhat-surprised look, seeing as they rarely if ever get kidnapped together (without their sisters, anyway), but it fades at the 'observation'. ]

No shit?

No shit. Figured I'd share, if anyone else was confused. Just trying to help.

[There's a cheesy-little half-grin for half a second... which he then drops instantaneously to be replaced with a more serious look.]

Okay really, what the hell is this?

No idea. It's new for me, too. [ Which is saying something when it comes from the King of Kidnapping. ] I get the feeling they don't want us to leave, though.

Yeah, I got that impression. I'm still trying to figure out how they got us here in the first place.

[He looks a little concerned.] I don't see the girls. Either means they're safe, or we need to find them.

Probably something to do with their power. Or maybe someone finally invented teleporting doors. [ Considering the crazy shit mad geniuses can come up with in their take-over-the-world schemes, he's only mildly disappointed that this is an actual possibility. ]

Okay, two birds with one stone. We look around, see what we can find. If we find the exit first, check whether the girls are at home. If we don't, we'll probably find them here anyway.

Either way, it sucks. There should be some kind of consent form or something for teleportation when it doesn't involve just yourself. I was really looking forward to getting some bacon.

Good plan. [Apparently the start of the plan, to him, means he should open the nearest door and peek inside - it opens to the edge of a cliff in the middle of a violent rainstorm, though, so he immediately closes it again, his expression wide-eyed.]

That was not at all normal.

Even if there was, you think the bad guys would follow that law?

[ Vince doesn't even try to stop Travis from opening the door, instead simply stepping aside to get a better angle at it. He almost says something... then just shakes his head. No, bro. No, it was not. ]
