[ Vince steps through one of the many doors in the warehouse, into the wide open room that has gained something of a homey feel to it. Games, snack tables, big puffy chairs and couches perfect for lounging in... and a few signs on the walls emblazoned with ⚠ PLEASE DON'T TRY TO GO HOME, THE DOORS MIGHT BE DANGEROUS ⚠Not so bad, right? [Welp. Aimery can follow instructions, but he's not all that fond of laying about with a bunch of strangers and snacking while waiting for... whatever. He stares at one of the signs for a little while, then crosses his arms and turns his head to address the nearest person.]

Do you think it is the doors that are dangerous, or what might lay behind them?

[People-eating doorways are totally plausible.]

No idea. Maybe it alternates. Or it's both! Hard to say what mad genius could be thinking when he comes up with his traps.

Very true. I know a mad genius who would likely trap the doors, the rooms beyond, and the couches.

Overkill, definitely. Either he's got all his screws loose, or... he's new to the mad geniusing?

Oh he's definitely not new, nor are all his screws loose. He just enjoys deathtraps a little more than is healthy.

[While he's talking, he's digging in his pockets for a little, then pulls a piece of candy out from one. When he finishes speaking, he looks back and forth between the candy and a nearby door, then suddenly tosses the candy at it, aiming for a big red X on the middle.]

[ Vince watches the candy fly and bounce harmlessly off the door. Glances to Aimery... then goes to pick up the candy and lightly toss it back. ]

Guess that one's not booby-trapped.

[Well that was disappointing. Aimery'd hoped for something exciting. Oh well, at least he learned that apparently that guy fetches? He catches the candy easily.]

Thank you, though really all that means is that it's likely safe to touch.

[Pause. Holding up the candy now, like it's an awesome treat.]

I'll give you some candy if you try opening it.

[ It just so happens that Vince is already trying the knob by the time Aimery offers the sweet. He looks over his shoulder with the door cracked open slightly. ]

Keep it. Five second rule didn't run out, it should still be good.

[ ... but as he says that, he starts getting drowned out by the loud buzzing coming from the other side of the door. ]
