happy birthday to me!
well in case u didn't guess, or already know, my b-day was this saturday and it was full of suprises.
1. to start off my day i woke up and found a card on the counter. ok so its not that big of a suprise but i liked it
2. MSU vs. Ohio St. do i need to say more? if u didn't see the game and are curios as to why i thought it a suprise, see me tomorrow or whenever u read this.
3. U of M beating Penn St. good game good game.
4. playing football with the neighbor kids and losing. lol.
5. going out to eat for my birthday. originally i picked mongolian BBQ (great place great food) but the wait was 40 min. so we went to Mr. Browns Backyard grill. holy crap they have the best ribs and steak in the world. mmm mmm mmm. and while we were there bethany was going balistic about finding out her band score because she had to leave early from her band comp to come eat dinner with me. so that was funny watching her.
6. bethany finds out her MB score and its a 73.something-or-other. all i know is that they got best in everything possible which is pretty cool.
7. PRESENTS!!! to start with the smallest item.
A. some clothes which i needed because i hate going shopping and this saved me a trip.
B. a new racquetball glove. finally my own. i had been using my dads old ones for the longest time.
C. OK this was the biggest suprise of the day. there was a really big box that i figured was a PS2 game wrapped inside box after box after box. i knew it had to be something expensive though because i only got 3 presents. i opened it and opened the the box and was staring at a hanger with plastic wrap around it. at that moment i knew. my varsity jacket. it took me by a full suprise because i wasnt' expecting it for a week and i just ordered it on monday. it turns out that my mom went in and asked the lady if they coulc have it done in time for my bday and she said yes. so i pulled it out and tried it on and reached into the pockets and pulled out.... wait first let me tell you that i had saved all my money for this jacket, $125 and i paid my dad it and he paid for the jacket. so i reached into my right pocket and pulled out $125. i was like HOLY CRAP. i didnt think that they would pay $263 for a varsity jacket for me. it was an incredible birthday.
well i'm out for some sleep
