Merry Christmas everyone, late, though I am
I decided not be be lazy tonight and update for once.
Well, since I have no idea what else to talk about, I'll just say what happened on Christmas. I got up and after a donut with everyone (all in a great mood for once, except dad >_>) went to open presents. I got Paper Mario for Gamecube (which is actually a great game, funny too), Rob Zombie: Past Present, and future, a $100 gift card to Regency Mall from my mom's boss (which was extremely nice of him), and, in keeping with the tradition, a new calender.... Scenic Wonders. O_o; Usually, it's a calender relating to my interests, like last year I got a Metallica calender. But no, for some reason, I got "Scenic Wonders". I looked at Mom and said "Scenic Wonders, mom?", to which she busted out laughing. So I joked about how that was my favorite present for the rest of the day. I thought about buying a new one with the gift card to Regency, but I think I'll use it as a joke. And finally, $40 because apparently, as usual, "I never ask for enough stuff".
Anyway, a few hours later we left for my Grandparent's house for dinner and to open presents there too. There I got a Boss distortion pedal from my grandparents and an MP3 player from my Aunt. It hadn't arrived to her house yet, so we actually just got a picture of it, lol, but it's coming.
The next day I went over to Sam Ash and bought a Dunlop Cry Baby Wah pedal, because dad's doesn't sound that good, and it's made to resemble a car that's painted with zebra stripes. I can't look to bad-ass playing a pedal that looks like a zebra striped Cadillac. But yeah, my new pedal.... so sweet. That was the best use of $70 ever. Sounds great, better than great. So that made me happy. :D And now I am contemplating buying a Nintendo DS with my $100 gift card.
So yeah, that was my Christmas, it was pretty good. It was nice to see everyone for the most part happy for a change. I kinda wish the holiday season wouldn't end so soon for that reason alone.
