17 and its about time!!!
I can't remember such a great birthday in a really long time. .
And I don't know where to start! It started with a happy birthday song from Mrs Simmons and then a lot of ppl wishing me happy birthday in the hall and in all my classes. And then in 5th period Ashlee came running into the lab telling me I had flowers in the front office and that they were all dying to know who they were from. So I got Mrs Layne to let me go down and I didn't really think much of it cuz I figured it'd just be a corny flower arrangement... BOY WAS I WRONG!!! There on the counter taking up a whole lotta space was a vase with a dozen white/pink two-tone roses with a card that had my name on it!!! They asked who it might be from and I was like "I have no clue!" They asked if it might be from my dad or something but I was like no, thats not something he would do. So I grabbed the little envelope and I go to open it and when I do, theres no card.. only a little slip of paper that said "Only when the final rose wilts will my love die". I almost started crying right there.. tears were welling up in my eyes and there was a horrible knot in my throat. TRina and Alex and Ashlee had to kno wut it said and my voice cracked. I looked at Ashlee and she looked and me and we were both thinking the same thing... but the slip of paper was not signed. Then Alex was looking more closely and goes "Hey, this rose looks fake," touched it and goes "It IS fake!" Lightbulb went off in my brain... "That means one of them will never wilt.." and everyone in the office goes "aaaaaaaawww" and I just could have melted right there. Then Shane goes "Man, who ever it is is making the rest of us guys look bad" and Gatewood goes "For real" and all the girls laughed. I just stood there practically floating, smelling my dozen roses..
So I got the most gorgeous roses... the most PERFECTIST birthday present ever today and I have no one I can thank... so if it was you, Thank you..
