"QUOTE!" Cried Lopmon scurrying to his aid hoping to drag him from the small crater he had made. But he was already standing up, limbs shaking.
"I think I need a bigger pipe." He muttered looking at his now bent weapon.
"Call for help!" Lopmon threw the D-comm he had dropped back at him. "I'll lead him away!"
Or so she hoped. Lopmon darted and dashed trying to shoot past the Digimon, "Come on ugly! Bet you can't catch a hot bunny like me!"
Quote watched curiously and then turned his gaze back to the D-comm.

"I will continue the harvest, you chase that pest down." Opening a Warp Ring, Finitevus moved from atop Black to the ground. His partner roared as he flapped his wings and gave chase after the child digimon.
Finitevus went about, perfect level digisoul surrounding his hands, attacking digimon and pushing them into Warp Rings.

But her ears and legs could only push her so fast. She began to wish she'd driven to the park instead of a nice healthy walk! Her lungs burned and eyes watered as she poured on the speed.
Quote meanwhile pocketed his D-comm and acknowledged Finitevus harvesting the Digimon. Even with a bent pipe he could at least try right? He shot across the grass again swinging for the fences.

"And who might you be?"
Lopmon wasn't so luck: Black's shadow cast over her as he caught up with her. The dragon ceased flapping his wings and fell downward, aiming to land on the Lopmon. If she could keep running she would dodge it though.

It all made perfect logical sense to Quote. If he explained himself plainly why wouldn't the doctor do as he bid?
Lopmon would have started yelling at him if she wasn't too busy screaming and scrambling for her life. Her ears dug into the grass and launched herself free of the impact zone with barely and inch to spare. She hit the ground and rolled awkwardly.

"Allow me to make my own counter-point. The digimon may not wish to follow me now, but they will be in service to the greater good. Scientific Advancement demands sacrifice. And furthermore, how can I continue to further my research without test subjects? To gain something, something must be lost." He adjusted his glasses as he spoke and waited for a reply.
Black wasn't in much of a talking mood like the doctor. He leered down at Lopmon and reached for her, grabbing at her with his claw. "Come here little digimon!"

"You can't justify hurting living creatures for the sake of progress!" Protested the robot. "They should agree to help you not be taken by force. What's the point of progress if everyone it's supposed to help was hurt on the way?"
Lopmon wished dearly that she was the one having a debate, she managed to dart up a slide and start flipping about a jungle gym hoping to buy herself a few seconds.

Finitevus glared at the boy. He was getting between him and what he wanted and at the moment, he was not in the mood for such a thing.
Black was having fun chasing the digimon, crashing his claws into the jungle gym, mangling the weak metal of the child play area. "You can run all you want but I will get you!"

Quote felt his brain overheating. Debate was not is primary function.
"I may not know much sir." Ever so polite he countered, "But I do know this. They don't want to go with you, and I'm not going to let you take them!"
He struck a defensive pose with his pipe and turned his hat around backwards. He was serious now.

Black was getting fed up with this game. He stopped and opened his mouth. Energy formed inside that maw and he fired his V-breath arrow at the Lopmon, aiming for the ground ahead of her in hopes the blast would send her backwards.

Lopmon screeched and stumbled to a halt as the ground exploded in front of her sending her flying. I'm going to die. She thought as the world turned upside down and she landed on her head gazing up at him.

Black smirked down at Lopmon and quickly reached down, picking her off the ground with a massive claw. He lifted her up to his face, his red eyes seeming to glow. At this distance, she would see the large golden ring around his head had been melted into his flesh in a very gruesome way. "Have any smartass remarks now, corrupt being?"

Lopmon whimpered and squirmed wiggling in his grasp before going still. "Your piercing looks horrible!" She spat, "What the hell did you let your Tamer do that?"
