First Encounter (Riza vs Fini at the wedding)

It was a lovely evening, the sun had vanished behind the horizon and all daylight was slowly vanishing. This was when the couple: a Gizamon and an Elecmon, would say their vows and forever be bound in holy matrimony. The priest, one Andromon, was standing at the alter, a smile on his face. The two were staring into each others eyes, their vows just spoken and there was just one last line from the Perfect digimon and all would be set

Riza and Hayate had been passing throuygh shen she'd seen the trouble, and without thinking she was heading there. Never mind that she was suposed to be taking it easy after last night's misadventures. It was easier to focus on something like this. Anod to her partner and he was off, the young woman drawing out one of her guns, the Colt Model 1911, swapping it for a clip of blanks. It wouldn't do much use she knew again... whatever level this was. But it made her feel a lot better.

Hayate himself was snarling, darting ahead of his tamer to pull whoever he could out of the perfects way. Suicidal, maybe, but he didn't care. One of those he'd seen tama'd had been an estranged friend from back in his baby two stages. He'd try and draw attention to himself, but he'd yet to even reach the adult stage. Ok, yes, that pissed him off, but seeing a tamer's digimon going rouge - well, he hoped it was rouge- ? He didn't like tamers most of the time.

"OI! JERKFACE! What do you think you're doing?" He hated partners going rouge even more.

The digimon had two digimon in its hands when it heard Hayate speak. Black dropped them into two Warp Rings and turned on the mouthy little digimon.

"I'm gathering research subjects. What's it look like?" The dragon chuckled darkly as a Warp Ring opened before the large dragon and Dr. Finitevus stepped through it.

"And what, may I ask, is the reason behind your quandary about our business?" The Doctor simple smirked at Hayate, obviously not afraid of the digimon whatsoever.

"Moron, get them out of here." The Gazimon didn't even look back at his partner, who nodded, and started to try and get those she could away, trusting that Hayate would know his limits. Hopefully.

"Oh I don't know. How about you both piss me off more than my moron of a tamer does?" He smirked, ignoring that little voice that said mouthing off to a perfect and it's tamer was not the brightest idea in the world. "Plus, you tama'd a friend of mine."

A sort distance away, Riza resisted the urge to facepalm. She wasn't the moron, her partner was. Really.

That sharp-toothed smirk only grew on Finitevus. This impudent little digimon would make a wonderful addition to his collection.

"Then shall we reunite you with your friend?" Finitevus extended his arm, black digisoul quickly forming into an orb in his palm. The threw it at the digimon, the sphere of perfect-level digisoul heading straight for his head.

Hayate only just ducked it as a warning shot rang out from Riza's gun. "I'm afraid you'll you have to deal with me if you try."

"MORON!" Hayate looked less than pleased as he shifted from side to side, sizing the tamer up. Sure, he'd probably get the perfect on his arse, but the tamer had started it.

"I'm no--" she didn't even get to finish when Hayate launched himself at Finitevus, claws out.

"Fool!" Finitevus held out his hand and a Warp Ring opened in front of this, the exit opening to Riza's left. If she didn't do something, her own partner would be launching out of the Warp Ring and into her.

Neither had time to react, and Riza was literally knocked to the ground by a furball of a gazimon, who looked just as surprised. It lasted only seconds thought and he was scrambling off his winded partner, who groaned. Damn it, who knew that having a digimon barring into you would hurt so much. Thankfully, she'd only got scratched, but it was still to close for comfort. This week hated her it seemed.

"Get him."

"With pleasure." He didn't say he could do more if he evolved, though was starting to feel as if it was within reach now. Hopefully. Either way, he was shooting a Paralyse Breath burst at Finitevus, all the while starting the process to do a Pitfall attack.

Finitevus opened a Warp Ring beneath himself and reappeared on the Black's head, escaping the Paralyze Breath attack. Black flapped his wings, sending two V-wing blades into the gas and dispersed it. From the side, the Andromon had gotten to his feet and fired a Lightning Blade at the Perfect digimon, the attack hitting black upside the head. He jerked to the side, Finitevus being forced to hang on.

"It seems we have multiple enemies. You take the priest. I will handle those two." Finitevus jumped off of Black and fell through another Warp Ring and appeared to Gazimon's left though another one. Black turned and charged the Andromon, tacking the other Perfect level to the ground.

And next post, cue having a Devidramon, I hope. And yes, you can revert Hayate to baby1 form after

Hayate reacted as soon as Finitevus was at his side, unleashing the Pitfall trap, while Riza hastily brought up her gun and fired it, aiming for a non lethal shot. Hopefully [if it hit because she wasn't sure what he was using. She'd have to ask her partner later] if they subdued the tamer they could subdue the perfect.

Of course, this hinged on being able to hurt the bastard.

Unfortunately for the two, their combo attack would backfire on them. As the pitfall opened underneath Finitevus, he instantly opened a Warp Ring below himself, falling through and avoiding the shot. The exiting ring appearing above Riza herself. The 3'5'' echidna fell out of the ring and was going to land on the human if she didn't move.

If there is no set hieght in Dive for a Devidra, he's season one hieght.

"Holy fucking shit!" Riza was moving as fast as she could as soon as she looked up, but it wasn't fast enough. Thank god she missed major injured, but it didn't the cry as someone landed on her foot.

"RIZA!" Hayate saw red, literally and the next thing he knew was evolving. Because someone had hurt Riza. "Gazimon evolve..... Devidramon."

With a roar, the new adult flared his wings, looking at Finitevus with a murderous intent, the height only adding to the already intimating air around him. He ignore the wide-eyed, slightly fearful look that Riza was giving him. He'd deal with that after he'd dealt with the threat.

Alright. He's pretty big then. Nice.

Finitevus grinned at the digimon, lifting his hands and covering them and his entire body in black digi-soul. He charged the creature, height making no difference to him. He stepped through a Warp Ring, it's exit opening up right in Devidramon's face. Finitevus emerged and threw all of his strength into a single punch, aimed to hit the Adult right in the middle of his head.

.. Or not as that little thing vanished then reappeared right in his face and there was no time to react. And that punch hurt. Enough that his tedious grip on his adult form was shattered.

"HAYATE!" Riza could only watch in horror as her partner glowed, reverting down to a much smaller shape. She only breathed again when it was the baby1 form, but she knew that meant nothing. And all she could do was watch, much to her frustration.

Finitevus fell through a Warp Ring and landed though another closer to the ground, decreasing the distance he fell by a large margin. He stared down at the baby 1 digimon with a dark smirk.

"Foolish corrupt beings," he bent down and picked the small digimon up before turning around and throwing it at Riza herself, "None of you can stand before me!"

Riza grit her teeth and held her partner close to her, the anger plain in her eyes. She could continue to fight, try and shot him, but... Her main thought now was to protect the little zurumon in her arms, rather than fighting, no matter how much she wanted to.

"At least I got some of them away." What would come would come. She wasn't scared. Just angry at her failure to prevent this tamer from taking any of the innocents.
